The leprechaun is a solitary fairy from Irish folklore who works as a shoemaker for the other fairies. He saves every coin he earns and hides it in a pot of gold, the one said to sit at the end of a rainbow. If you catch him, he must buy his freedom by handing over the gold or granting your wishes. The trouble is holding onto him, because a leprechaun has spent centuries learning the exact moment your attention will slip.
