Menace

The jackalope is a jackrabbit with a set of deer antlers, and its name combines "jackrabbit" and "antelope." It races across the high plains of the American West, faster than either animal it is named for. The modern legend began in Douglas, Wyoming, where two brothers mounted the first one in the 1930s and sold it to a local hotel; the town now calls itself the Jackalope Capital of the World. Stories of horned hares, though, are far older than that.
