The Mothman appears before disaster, a tall winged figure with glowing red eyes that reflect any light shone on them. He first haunted Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in 1966, around an old wartime munitions site the locals call the TNT area. Soon after, the town's Silver Bridge collapsed into the Ohio River and killed forty-six people, and everyone understood the warning too late. The Mothman is still seen from time to time, and his appearance is never good news.
