Threat

The Firespitter is a small, dragon-like reptile that lives in the desert near Arlit, in Niger. It has the head of a crocodile, a spiny back, and feet like an ostrich, and it first showed itself to local uranium miners. When soldiers tried to attack it, the creature raised the spines along its back and spat fire at them. It has kept to the desert around the mine ever since, and no weapon has managed to bring it down.
