Threat

The jotnar are the giants of Norse myth, the wild and ancient powers of the realm of Jotunheimr, and they have warred with the gods since the beginning. Thor in particular spends much of his time fighting them. They are not all brutes, though; many are beautiful, and gods and giants have children together often enough that the line between them blurs. The very first being, Ymir, was a giant, and the gods built the entire world out of his body.
