Threat

The Nightcrawler is a pale creature that is almost nothing but legs. It walks on two long, thin white limbs beneath a tiny head, with no arms and no real body, gliding slowly across the ground as if it has nowhere to be. A home security camera in Fresno, California recorded two of them crossing a yard in 2007, and more were filmed in the woods near Yosemite a few years later. It does nothing threatening. It simply passes through and is gone.
