Threat

Bahamut is a colossal fish from Arabic and Islamic tradition, so vast that all the seas of the world set inside one of its nostrils would look like a single seed dropped in a desert. It lies at the very bottom of creation and holds everything up: on its back stands a giant bull named Kujata, and above the bull rests a slab of gemstone, then an angel, and finally the earth. Bahamut must never move, because if it did, the whole world would shake apart in earthquakes. To keep it still, God set a swarm of gnats before it to hold its attention.
